Here, we board a ferry to cross the Chacao Channel and reach the legendary Isla Grande de Chiloé. During the 45-minute crossing, keep an eye out for sea lions playing in the waves, pelicans soaring above, and a variety of marine birds, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural wonders of the area.

Upon arrival in Chacao, we will explore this picturesque town, known for its traditional larch wood architecture and the famous San Antonio de Chacao Church, recognized as a National Monument. Our route continues along the coast to Caulín, renowned for its intertidal wetlands that host a remarkable array of birdlife, including black-necked swans, herons, and flamingos, particularly prominent in winter. This distinctive setting invites you to connect with nature and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

By midday, we reach Puñihuil Beach, where a unique adventure awaits: a boat excursion to the islets home to the Puñihuil Penguin Colony. During the 40-minute trip (ticket not included), witness the incredible Magellanic and Humboldt penguins, protected species that make their home in this National Monument thanks to its ecological significance.
