Después de un año de mucho trabajo, necesitaba un día sin pensar y esta excursión cumplió. El guía avisó por WhatsApp la noche anterior, la van llegó a las 8:03 y todo fluyó sin esperas: Saltos de Petrohué, miradores y navegación por el Lago Todos los Santos. Incluso nos prestaron capas para la llovizna. Por el precio, el transporte, las entradas y la coordinación me parecieron muy convenientes. Puerto Varas quedó en modo postal.

During our first international family trip, this was a perfect mix of short walks, photo stops, and a boat ride across Todos los Santos Lake. The emerald water, volcano views, and roaring Petrohué Falls were unforgettable. Our guide even pointed out a tiny kingfisher near the river. Easy, varied, and beautifully organized from Puerto Varas.

Saí de Puerto Varas cedo, e tudo funcionou no horário combinado. O motorista chegou uns minutos antes, mandou mensagem pelo WhatsApp e ajudou com o embarque. A van era confortável, com ar-condicionado bem regulado, bancos reclináveis e espaço suficiente para minha mochila. Na Rota Esmeralda, as paradas foram bem encaixadas: visitei as Cataratas de Petrohué sem correria e depois curti o Lago Todos os Santos com calma. Ainda ofereceram água e avisaram o tempo de cada parada. Viajando sozinho, me senti super tranquilo.

Die Smaragdroute war für uns als älteres Ehepaar genau richtig. Der Kleinbus war sauber, bequem und hatte angenehm viel Beinfreiheit; auch die kurvige Strecke zum Todos los Santos-See fühlte sich entspannt an. Bei der Buchung über Best Patagonia Tours antwortete uns Martina noch am selben Abend auf Deutsch und erklärte sogar, dass wir die Abholung vor dem Hotel bestätigen sollten. Die Wasserfälle und die Farben des Sees waren wunderschön. Unser Fahrer erzählte locker und wartete geduldig an den Aussichtspunkten.

Pour mon voyage d’anniversaire en solo, j’ai réservé cette excursion sans difficulté : l’équipe m’a répondu rapidement en français et a clarifié le lieu de prise en charge à Puerto Varas. Notre guide, Martín, connaissait vraiment la région ; il nous a expliqué pourquoi les eaux de Petrohué prennent cette couleur turquoise avec les minéraux volcaniques. Il nous a aussi emmenés à un petit point de vue tranquille sur le lac Todos los Santos. Une journée magnifique et très bien organisée !
