Tour Description
Today, experience the ultimate trilogy within Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park: the adventure of Osorno Volcano, the stunning Petrohué Falls, and the mesmerizing turquoise waters of Todos los Santos Lake.
Your journey begins with departure from your hotel in Puerto Montt around 8:30 a.m. or from Puerto Varas at about 9:00 a.m.
Upon arrival in Puerto Varas, famously known as the "City of Roses", our tour starts at 9:10 a.m. as we travel along Lake Llanquihue. Along the way, take in the breathtaking views of the snow-capped Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes in the background until we reach the Ensenada area.
From Ensenada, we’ll ascend to the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, located at 1,240 meters above sea level. You’ll have approximately one hour to immerse yourself in the scenery, capture stunning photos, and admire the unrivaled vistas of the volcanic peaks with their snow-covered glaciers, Calbuco Volcano, Lake Llanquihue, and the Pacific Ocean.
Guests may choose to enjoy a coffee or sandwich at the on-site cafeteria or ride the lifts to 1,450 meters at the Spring Station or 1,750 meters at the Glacier Station, where spectacular panoramic views of Lake Llanquihue await.
At 11:45 a.m., we will begin our descent back to the Ensenada area, where you’ll have time to savor a delicious lunch amidst natural surroundings (lunch not included).
At around 2:00 p.m., our next stop is the Petrohué Falls. After paying the National Park entrance fee, we’ll visit the iconic Petrohué Falls Viewpoint. Here, the Petrohué River courses between ancient masses of crystallized lava, resistant to erosion for centuries, formed by smaller stones held together by a glassy material that truly stands out. This part of the tour lasts about 30 minutes.
By 3:00 PM, we head to Petrohué Port on the shores of Lake Todos los Santos. During this segment, you can opt for a 30-minute lake cruise (not included) or enjoy a peaceful walk along the shoreline, surrounded by evergreen forests, the impressive Osorno Volcano, and the dazzling turquoise waters of the Petrohué River.
Finally, at 5:30 PM, we will return to your hotel, taking with you unforgettable memories of awe-inspiring landscapes and a deep connection with nature.
