With this 4 days and 3 nights package, you will visit Punta Arenas, the southernmost city in Chile. From here, we will set off to explore various regions, including an unforgettable penguin encounter on Magdalena Island.

Tour Description
DAY 1: Transfer from Airport to Hotel in Punta Arenas
Upon arrival at Punta Arenas International Airport, a driver will be waiting at the agreed time to transfer you directly to your hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore the city at your own pace.
DAY 2: Punta Arenas City Tour
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. At 9:30 AM, we will start our guided city tour, beginning at the Plaza de Armas. We'll admire iconic buildings such as the José Braun Menéndez Residence, where you can discover the history of the region’s first settlers in the early 1900s, and the Salesian Museum Maggiorino Borgatello (closed on Mondays), featuring exhibits on native flora, fauna, and Patagonian indigenous artifacts. Next, we will continue to Costanera Avenue and visit the Regional Cemetery, known for its beautiful gardens. The tour concludes at the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint, offering panoramic views of Punta Arenas’ colorful houses, the Strait of Magellan, Tierra del Fuego Island, and Dawson Island.
We will return to the hotels at approximately 1 PM.
DAY 3: Magdalena Island Excursion
At 6:30 AM, we will gather at our meeting point and head to the Laredo Bay pier for a boat trip to Magdalena Island. After a two-hour navigation, we will arrive at Magdalena Island, home to the Los Pingüinos Natural Monument. Here, you can observe over 120,000 Magellanic penguins as well as various birds and sea lions. We will walk along marked trails from the coast to the island’s summit, getting up close to the penguins and their nests. At the highest point, you’ll find the Environmental Interpretation Center and the Lighthouse, which you can climb for breathtaking views of Magdalena Island and the Strait of Magellan.
We will return to Punta Arenas by 1 PM.
DAY 4: Transfer from Hotel in Punta Arenas to the Airport
Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll have free time for last-minute shopping or to explore more of the city. At the prearranged time, our driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you back to the Punta Arenas International Airport.
