Tour Description
Day 1
Arrival in Bariloche
City of Bariloche
Upon your arrival at Bariloche airport or the bus terminal, you will be greeted and transferred to your centrally located hotel.
The remainder of the day is at your leisure to enjoy as you wish.
Day 2
Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up around 10:30 a.m. for a transfer to Puerto Pañuelo. There, you will board a boat to begin your lake excursion.
During this trip, you will explore the largest island in Nahuel Huapi Lake, a true natural gem known for its unique native and exotic flora and fauna. You will also visit the last remaining natural Arrayanes Forest in the world.
Throughout the journey, both onboard and on the trails in the Arrayanes Forest and Victoria Island, professional tourism guides will provide insights into the vegetation, flora, and the fascinating history of the area, as well as answer any questions you may have about this remarkable place.
After approximately 30 minutes navigating the blue waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi, you will arrive at Puerto Anchorena, located in the heart of the island, which serves as the main service center. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to hike along well-marked trails.
The journey continues to the Quetrihué Peninsula, where you can witness the stunning scenery of the world’s only Arrayanes Forest.
At around 5 p.m., you will return to Puerto Pañuelo and be transferred back to your hotel in downtown Bariloche.
The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to spend as you like.
Day 3
Kayaking and Trekking at Mascardi Lake
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up around 9 a.m. in a private vehicle to take the < b>Route 40 south, heading into the National Park and on to the base at Mascardi Lake.
The adventure starts with a basic introduction to kayaking before setting out to explore the beautiful lake, where the turquoise waters and majestic Andes mountains create an unforgettable scene.
You’ll pause at a remote beach for a country-style lunch. After some relaxation time, you’ll get back in the kayaks and paddle back to the starting point.
Once back at the lake base, enjoy a scenic walk through the enchanting forests and along the lakeshores before heading back to your hotel.
The remainder of the afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy as you wish.
Day 4
Estancia Visit and Horseback Riding
Following breakfast, you’ll be picked up from the hotel at around 9 a.m. for a one-hour drive to Estancia San Ramón.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with tea, coffee, and traditional sweets for breakfast. The guides will then provide a brief orientation on the horses, safety protocols, riding tips, and important considerations for your ride.
The morning ride takes you through the transitional forest region, traveling east to west, allowing you to experience both the forest and the Patagonian steppe. The two-hour journey offers opportunities to observe local wildlife.
After this activity, you’ll be ready to savor a delicious lunch.
After a relaxing break, prepare for an afternoon ride through the steppe landscape. Upon returning to the ranch, enjoy a snack before departing at approximately 5:30 p.m. to arrive back at your hotel around 6:30 p.m.
You’ll have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to spend as you prefer.
Day 5
Farewell to Bariloche

In the morning, after breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and have free time until your transfer to Bariloche airport or bus terminal.
