Upon your arrival at El Calafate airport or the bus terminal, you will be greeted and transferred to your centrally located hotel.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore as you wish.

Los Glaciares National Park

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up for a scenic 90-minute drive to Los Glaciares National Park.

As soon as you step out of the vehicle, you'll witness the impressive scale of the Perito Moreno Glacier, but the true adventure begins at the port "Bajo de las Sombras." Here, we will board a boat to cross the Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino to the west coast.

We will hike through a section of forest, and the mountain guides will bring you closer to the glacier, where you will put on crampons and start your trek.

The route follows the southern moraine of the Perito Moreno Glacier, and after just over an hour, you’ll arrive at a breathtaking viewpoint, where the ice adventure begins.

On the glacier, you’ll discover a world of vibrant blue lagoons, deep crevasses, vast sinkholes, magical ice caves, and the unforgettable feeling of standing in the heart of the glacier.

Expert guides will accompany and instruct you throughout the three-and-a-half-hour trek, sharing insights about the ice formations and the surrounding landscape.

You’ll also have half an hour to enjoy lunch on the pristine ice and take in the unparalleled scenery.

After returning to the moraine, you’ll hike another hour back to the boat, which will cruise near the glacier’s southern face before taking you back to the port—an extraordinary conclusion to a remarkable glacier experience.

The excursion also includes time to stroll along the walkways in front of the glacier.

After a full day of adventure, totaling nearly 12 hours, you’ll return to your hotel in El Calafate.

* The Big Ice trek is available for individuals aged 18 to 50. For those under 18 or over 50, the excursion can be replaced with the "Minitrekking on the Glacier," which includes 90 minutes on the ice.

Evening at leisure

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be transferred to Estancia Cristina for an experience that will leave a lasting impression.

The day begins with a 4x4 journey through the rugged trails of the native forest in the Feruglio mountain range, followed by a short 20-minute walk to the exclusive viewpoint of the Upsala Glacier, where you can admire the converging glaciers, Lake Guillermo, and the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Here, you’ll have the chance to observe the landscape and witness the marks left by time.

Next, enjoy a traditional lunch at El Quincho and a guided visit to the Estancia Cristina Museum.

Once all activities have concluded, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
