Tour Description
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Bariloche and take you to Cerro Otto. Upon arrival at the winter resort, participants will be grouped based on their chosen activity, and an instructor will provide a detailed briefing and outline the day's itinerary.
Nordic Ski Day
Nordic (or cross-country) skiing is a winter sport suitable for most people. It can be enjoyed from a young age and does not require a high level of physical fitness. Unlike alpine skiing, it is practiced on flat or gently rolling terrain, making it safer and easier to learn. This makes it an excellent introduction to snow activities, especially for beginners who have never tried winter sports before.
The experience includes a group lesson lasting about an hour and a half, which is interactive and perfect for families or groups of friends. After teaching the initial techniques, the instructor will guide participants along the trails through the forest to scenic viewpoints offering stunning vistas.
In the first part of the lesson, participants will practice movements on a gentle slope, helping everyone build confidence. Next, the instructor will lead the group along the beginner's trail through the lenga forest, which features mild undulations and spectacular views of Lake Nahuel Huapi. At the end of the trail, you will reach a panoramic viewpoint where you can take memorable photos.
After the lesson, you are free to continue skiing until just before the shuttle departs to return you to your hotel.
The resort features approximately 10 kilometers of trails of varying difficulty levels. The beginner trails are clearly marked and perfect for practicing classic Nordic skiing along their entire route.
Once your activity is complete, you can continue enjoying the snow and the breathtaking landscapes until shortly before the shuttle departs to take you back to your hotel.
