Snowboarding Day At Cerro Catedral

Experience the thrill of snowboarding at the most iconic ski resort in Latin America, with everything you need for your very first time on the board.

In the morning, our vehicles will pick you up from the designated meeting points in San Carlos de Bariloche. From there, we’ll set off toward the stunning Cerro Catedral, the largest winter sports center in South America.

On the way—about a 45-minute drive—we’ll travel alongside the breathtaking Lake Nahuel Huapi, surrounded by snow-covered forests and mountains, setting the tone for a truly unforgettable day.

Upon arrival at the base of the mountain, we will proceed to the Travesía Building, located in front of Las Terrazas Shopping Center. Here, you’ll find the meeting point to pick up your passes and gear. Our staff will help you with your complete snowboard equipment (boots and board) and the included thermal clothing (jacket, pants, and helmet).

Once equipped, you’ll meet our certified instructors who will lead the introductory group snowboarding lesson, specifically created for beginners.

During the 2-hour lesson, you will learn how to stand on the board, maintain your balance, turn, and brake safely. The class takes place in a beginner area, with specialized instructors by your side at all times to guarantee a fun and safe environment.

After your lesson, we’ll head to one of the mountain’s restaurants, where you can relax and have lunch (not included) while enjoying spectacular mountain views.

In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy free time to continue exploring Cerro Catedral. With your included pass, you can keep practicing on the beginner slopes, explore the mountain base, snap panoramic photos, visit the mountain refuge, or warm up with a delicious hot chocolate.

At the end of the day, we’ll gather again at the meeting point and return to Bariloche, filled with excitement and a newfound love for the snow.
