4x4 Adventure In Punta Ninfas

The adventure starts at approximately 9:00 am, when you are picked up from your hotel in a 4x4 Land Rover truck. The journey covers about 80 km and takes us to an extreme southeastern point of the city, marking the entrance to the Gulf of Nuevo. Here, we will discover the legendary Punta Ninfas Lighthouse, a historic beacon that has long guided sailors and lends its name to this remote area.

Our route continues for several more kilometers until we reach the mouth of the Gulf of Nuevo. This stunning location is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and offers breathtaking panoramic vistas, pristine coastlines, and unique sandy beaches. To access the beach, we must descend the cliff, with assistance from your experienced guide and driver.

Along the way, you will find ropes to help make the descent safer and more enjoyable. These secluded beaches are home to a permanent colony of southern elephant seals, visible year-round, giving us the rare opportunity to observe them up close while always respecting their space.

As this area is not part of a reserve or protected park, the ecosystem is especially delicate and exposed, making it crucial to keep a respectful distance and maintain low voices to minimize our impact.

Depending on the season, there is also a chance to spot Southern Right Whales and Orcas passing through these waters.

Around 4:00 p.m., we will begin the drive back, returning you safely to your hotel in the city center.
