4x4 Excursion In Puerto Madryn

The tour begins as we pick you up from your hotel in a 4x4 truck and set off towards one of the city’s unique sand dune areas.

We will gradually make our way across cliffs and coastlines, descending to various beaches along the way, allowing guests to soak in the beautiful scenery and capture photographs of the breathtaking views over the Golfo Nuevo. Our adventure continues along the coast on a 4x4 medium difficulty route, combining insightful interpretation stops with moments of pure adrenaline.

The journey leads us to Cerro Avanzado, where we’ll explore fossil remains and climb to the highest point in the area, before making our way down through the most remarkable coastal landscapes facing Punta Loma.

Along the route, we visit the Punta Loma sea lion colony, take time to discover the reefs and marine fossils that make up the valuable paleontological heritage of the region, and enjoy a snack of croissants and a hot infusion while admiring the wonderful views.

For those seeking a similar adventure with a twist, you can opt for the Trekking option. The route taken is identical to the previously described excursion, but with this alternative, we’ll dedicate 45 minutes to hike to the highest point of Cerro Avanzado.

Throughout the tour, guests will experience a deep connection with nature, surrounded by the area’s distinctive vegetation. Encounters with native wildlife are possible as we traverse canyons and cliffs. The path leads us along unconventional trails, up and down ravines, where we interpret intertidal zones, explore the local flora, visit the panoramic point "Cerro Avanzado", journey through ravines, and observe and interpret fossil findings.
