Excursion To Punta Tombo In Puerto Madryn For Cruise Passengers

The activity begins as soon as you disembark from your cruise ship to Punta Tombo. There are no set departure times; we will be at the port one hour before your ship arrives and will greet you as soon as you leave the dock, holding a sign with your name for easy identification.

Throughout the excursion, a professional guide will accompany us, sharing valuable information and insights, allowing you to spend a day observing native wildlife up close while ensuring the preservation of their natural habitat.

On the way to the Punta Tombo Reserve, you'll have the opportunity to see a replica of the largest dinosaur in the world, discovered in the province of Chubut.

We will also stop at the Interpretation Center, a museum where you can learn more and view a representation of the seabed as well as various terrestrial animals.

The tour’s highlight is arriving at Punta Tombo Reserve, home to the largest continental colony of Magellanic penguins in the world. Here, you can observe these remarkable animals in their natural environment as they return each year to complete their breeding cycle. The reserve is also inhabited by guanacos, piches, maras, rheas, and foxes.

After exploring the reserve, we will start our journey back to Puerto Madryn.
