Tour Description

The tour starts in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Puerto Madryn.

We will head toward El Desempeño, which serves as the entrance checkpoint to Península Valdés. Here, we will pay the entrance fee to access the reserve.

Our journey continues with a visit to the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus, known as the "Gateway" to Península Valdés. At this point, we will enter the Interpretation Center, where we will receive detailed information and even have the chance to see a whale skeleton.

From the viewpoint, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of both gulfs simultaneously, the unique geographic features of the peninsula, and the stunning Isla de los Pájaros.

Throughout the excursion, a professional guide will accompany us, sharing essential facts and insights so you can experience a close encounter with local wildlife while respecting their natural environment.

The guide will determine whether the observation will take place at Punta Norte or Caleta Valdés. While orcas can be spotted in Península Valdés year-round, the optimal conditions for viewing local wildlife are during high tide and with minimal wind.

After this incredible wildlife experience, we will begin our return journey to your hotel in Puerto Madryn.
