Rafting On The Chimehuin River

Tras un año de mucho trabajo, aproveché el descanso para hacer este rafting y terminé encantado. El precio incluye traslado desde San Martín de los Andes, equipo, charla de seguridad y una pausa junto al río con mate y tortas fritas. El tramo ofrece rápidos divertidos, sin volverse extremo, y el guía estuvo atento todo el tiempo. Por la variedad y el acompañamiento, me pareció una relación precio-calidad muy justa.

Rafting, mate y rápidos: un descanso perfecto en Chimehuin

With our two kids, we expected a crowded outing, but our raft had just six guests plus the guide. The mood stayed relaxed, and the kids quickly joined the jokes between rapids. The Chimehuin was gorgeous: blue-green water, volcanic hills, and quiet stretches beneath ñire trees. We stopped on a gravel beach for mate and sandwiches while a hawk circled overhead. The safety briefing was clear, never rushed, and the whole adventure felt exciting without being overwhelming.

Saímos de San Martín no horário combinado, com a van chegando cinco minutos antes no nosso hostel. A equipe explicou tudo com calma e separou os equipamentos sem correria. Éramos apenas oito no bote, o que deixou o clima bem próximo e divertido, com muita brincadeira nas corredeiras. O detalhe que marcou foi o mate compartilhado na pausa, perto das pedras.

Zu zweit haben wir die Rafting-Tour auf dem Chimehuin sehr entspannt erlebt. Unser Guide Martín kannte jede Kurve und erklärte nicht nur die Strömungen, sondern auch, warum an einer Felswand schwarze Kormorane nisten. Besonders schön: Wir waren nur acht Personen, dadurch blieb Zeit für Fragen und ein Picknick am Ufer mit Mate und Keksen. Die Stimmung war freundlich, ohne Hektik; die Sicherheitsanweisungen wirkten klar und kompetent. Für uns als älteres Ehepaar war diese Mischung aus Abenteuer und Natur genau richtig. Danke an das ganze Team!

Acht Paddler, viel Ruhe und wilde Landschaft

Pour notre anniversaire, cette descente sur le Chimehuin nous a offert un vrai moment de déconnexion. Nous étions seulement huit dans le raft, donc chacun a bien participé et l’ambiance est restée détendue, avec quelques blagues entre les rapides. Le minibus était confortable, avec une climatisation douce et assez d’espace pour nos sacs ; le chauffeur nous a même prêté une couverture au retour.
