Tour Description
We start by searching for the passengers for each of the accommodations and then head to the incredible area of Valle Escondido distant just about 30 minutes from San Martin de los Andes.
Upon arrival, the guide will give a talk about the use of snowshoes and poles that will help us navigate this incredible place.
It will be a walk of about 45 minutes one way through incredible Lenga forests through a sector with almost no slopes until you reach an incredible high viewpoint. During the transit and especially from the viewpoint the view will open to enjoy impressive views of the Lacar Lake in its entirety, the Escondido Valley, the Lacar Valley (where San Martín de los Andes is located) and an endless succession of mountain peaks, snowy forests, rivers and lagoons.
It is an ideal option for families with children, elderly people or for those who simply do not like to make great physical efforts. It allows you to enjoy the forest, the views and the recreation with very little physical demand. We will end our tour in our refuge sharing a hot chocolate with alfajor.
