Tour Description
We begin by picking up passengers from each accommodation before making our way to the stunning Valle Escondido, located just 30 minutes from San Martin de los Andes.
Upon arrival, our guide will provide an introduction to the use of snowshoes and trekking poles, essential for exploring this remarkable area.
This excursion features a 45-minute walk through breathtaking Lenga forests along a gentle path with minimal inclines, leading to an impressive high viewpoint. Throughout the journey, and especially from the viewpoint, you’ll be treated to panoramic vistas of Lacar Lake in its entirety, the Escondido Valley, the Lacar Valley (home to San Martín de los Andes), and a seemingly endless array of mountain peaks, snow-covered forests, rivers, and lagoons.
