Tour Description

Discover the breathtaking landscapes of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park with this immersive "Trekking and Relaxing at El Rincón Beach"experience.

Your journey begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Puerto Varas, traveling along the Ensenada Camino, about 60 km away, until you reach the iconic Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. As Chile’s oldest national park, founded in 1926, it spans over 250,000 hectares, mostly within the province of Llanquihue. The park’s landscape has been sculpted over time by volcanoes, tectonic activity, and glaciers, making it a remarkable section of the Andes Mountains.

Our adventure continues with a roughly 6 km trek starting from the Petrohué area, following a clearly marked path through dense temperate rainforest, where you’ll encounter a wide variety of native plants. As part of the Southern Andes Temperate Rainforest Biosphere Reserve, the park is home to unique species such as canelo, coigüe, patagua, and pitra.

Throughout the hike, you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic vistas featuring the magnificent Lake Todos los Santos and the impressive Osorno Volcano. Be sure to bring your camera to capture these extraordinary sights. The diverse local wildlife may reveal glimpses of mammals like the pudú, pumas, guiñas, and wildcats, along with birds such as the mallard, black woodpecker, and kingfisher.

We’ll make our way down to the shores of Lake Todos los Santos, navigating some steep sections with care. At the lake’s edge, you’ll discover one of the park’s hidden gems: the beautiful "Playa El Rincón". This peaceful volcanic sand bay is perfect for unwinding, taking a swim in its crystal-clear waters, and enjoying a snack while surrounded by nature’s tranquility.

On the return trip, we’ll pause at the charming Kataratas Grill cafe, where you can savor local delicacies such as salmon sandwiches or homemade pastries (not included), before heading back to your hotel in Puerto Varas.

This adventure is designed to be a truly memorable experience, ideal for those eager to discover the finest natural wonders of southern Chile.
