Tour Description

At 8:30 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel to depart from the city of Bariloche. Traveling along Route 237, we will cross the Ñireco Stream as well as the Ñirihuau and Limay Rivers on our way to reach Rincón Chico.

Our journey continues along the banks of the Limay River toward Rincón Grande, where we will encounter the impressive "Amphitheater," a unique rock formation reminiscent of a Roman circus. The adventure carries on into the Enchanted Valley, an area famous for its unusual rock formations, each named after what they resemble: Finger of God, Sentinel, Express Train, Siamese Twins, and more. A few kilometers further, we arrive at the Confluence, where the Traful and Limay Rivers meet. Before crossing the bridge, we will take a detour to pause at a scenic lookout point.

We will continue traveling through beautiful coihue forests along the shores of Lake Traful until we reach a picturesque village. Our route then takes us through Puerto Arrayán and El Portezuelo, where the road merges with the renowned Seven Lakes Route. Heading south, we will journey through lush forests and alongside Lake Espejo, ultimately arriving at Villa La Angostura.

For our return to Bariloche, we will pass by Puerto Manzano and travel a scenic road with several elevations through the Huemul Peninsula, which connects back to Route 237. We are scheduled to return to Bariloche around 6:00 p.m.

Fuimos en familia y el Circuito Grande nos sorprendió por la variedad: miradores sobre los lagos, caminatas cortas entre bosques, paradas para fotos y tiempo para recorrer Villa La Angostura. Booking was remarkably painless. I had questions about doing the Large Circuit with my family on our first international trip, and Best Patagonia Tours replied quickly, clearly, and without pushing anything. The confirmation included pickup details and a helpful note about bringing layers—excellent advice when the wind appeared out of nowhere. The excursion delivered spectacular views of Nahuel Huapi, Villa La Angostura, Lago Correntoso, and the Seven Lakes route. We stopped at a quiet lookout near Valle Encantado, where my daughter counted six waterfalls (I lost count at three). Absolutely ridiculous scenery—in the best way.

Fizemos o Circuito Grande durante nossa estadia em Bariloche e tudo correu bem desde o embarque. O ônibus passou no horário combinado, às 8h20, e a guia já estava esperando no hotel com a lista dos passageiros. O roteiro foi bem organizado, sem correria, com paradas nos principais mirantes e tempo suficiente para tirar fotos. O transporte era confortável e limpo; tinha ar-condicionado e espaço razoável para as pernas. Na parada do lago Moreno, por exemplo, ficamos cerca de meia hora. O trajeto é longo, mas passou tranquilo. Voltamos cansados e felizes, sem atrasos.

Wir zwei Freundinnen haben im Sommer den Großen Schaltungsplan ab Bariloche gemacht und waren angenehm überrascht. Der Preis war für die lange Tagesfahrt wirklich fair: Abholung, mehrere Aussichtspunkte und ein gut organisierter Ablauf waren dabei. Unser Kleinbus hatte bequeme Sitze, funktionierende Klimaanlage und sogar USB-Ladebuchsen – nach der kurvigen Strecke entlang des Sees war das Gold wert. Der Fahrer fuhr ruhig, erzählte unterhaltsam und wartete geduldig, während wir Fotos machten. Keine Hetze, trotzdem viele Stopps. Für dieses Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis würden wir sofort wieder einsteigen.

Bariloches große Runde, bequem und fair

Après une année de boulot non-stop, ce Grand Circuit nous a offert une vraie bouffée d’air. Cerro Campanario, baie López, point panoramique et Llao Llao : des paysages de carte postale, sans filtre. Le minibus est arrivé à 8h55, cinq minutes en avance, avec une pause café près du lac Moreno. Organisation nickel, chauffeur sympa, photos sans courir. Même les horaires étaient au millimètre !
