Optional Boat Ride: Enjoy a 1-hour boat excursion on the Lago Argentino , bringing you closer to the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier walls.
Tour Description
The excursion begins with a hotel pick-up, followed by a scenic drive to the Glaciers National Park. We will travel along Route 11, which runs alongside the beautiful Lago Argentino. It is worth mentioning that this glacier, together with others in the area, forms part of the Patagonic Continental Ice, one of the world's largest reserves of fresh water.
Upon entering the park, our first stop will be at the Curva de los Suspiros, where you will get your first breathtaking view of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Next, we will stop at Muelle Bajo Las Sombras for those who wish to take the optional boat ride.
We will then proceed to the glacier frontal walkways, where you can admire the glacier from multiple balconies set at different levels. These viewpoints offer unique perspectives of the glacier, each more impressive than the last.
At the end, you will have free time to witness the glacier melt. If you prefer, you can enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants near the walkways. In the afternoon, we will return to your hotel in Calafate.What’s included?
