The Underwater Baptism offers the ideal chance to experience your very first dive beneath the sea. We will gather at our designated meeting point, where you’ll try on the full wetsuit (6 mm) that will be used throughout the excursion. This wetsuit not only protects you from the water temperature but also serves as an essential safety tool during navigation.
Once everyone is suited up, we’ll board a boat and head to a natural park located just 15 minutes away, where the underwater adventure will take place. There, you’ll receive a briefing on how the equipment works and learn the essential basics, such as underwater signals, equalizing pressure, and moving safely in the water.
Following the instructions, each participant will begin adapting individually and with personal guidance. From this moment, you can enjoy a relaxed dive, always accompanied by your instructor for maximum safety and enjoyment.
As soon as you feel comfortable, the underwater journey begins. You’ll dive for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, reaching a depth of around 9 meters. During this time, you’ll explore the unique Patagonian subaquatic ecosystem, discovering groupers, sargos, sea salmon, starfish, sea urchins, anemones, and a wide variety of algae that create an enchanting underwater forest.
After your dive, if you wish to keep exploring, snorkeling equipment will be available so you can continue enjoying the marine environment until it’s time to return to shore.
Once back on land, you’ll be awarded a diploma to certify your dive. In the afternoon (if you have booked this service), you can receive photographs and/or HD video footage of your experience (optional and not included).
