Our journey begins in Puerto Pirámides, at the office situated at the first descent to the sea, right next to the Whale Bar. This location marks the starting point of our thrilling whale watching tour.

Por el precio, el avistaje rindió muchísimo: la navegación duró casi tres horas y vimos varias ballenas francas muy cerca de la embarcación. On our family’s first international trip, my teenage daughter and I took this whale-watching excursion from Puerto Madryn. The drive through Península Valdés was already special: endless Patagonian scrub, low cliffs, and guanacos beside the road. The boat from Puerto Pirámides was comfortable, and we spent nearly an hour following two curious southern right whales, including a calf surfacing surprisingly close to us. Seeing them against the empty blue horizon felt unreal. Considering the transport, guide, and boat time, the price felt fair; our daughter loved the explanations and spotting sea lions on the return.

Schon die Fahrt über die Península Valdés mit ihren weiten, kargen Ebenen und der Küste am Golfo Nuevo war beeindruckend. Der Kleinbus war bequem, klimatisiert und hatte USB-Ladebuchsen; sogar für unsere Rucksäcke blieb genug Platz. Auf dem Wasser sahen wir mehrere Glattwale ganz nah beim Boot. Ein unvergesslicher Tag zu zweit.
