With this fun excursion you will get to know the Cerro Chapelco, place of great natural beauty, passing through the viewpoints where you can forever capture the immensity of the landscape.

You will have time to explore the winter center at your pace. If you wish, during the winter you can rent equipment to enjoy the snow as ski or snowboard, or perform a shoe walking.

Tour Description

The excursion begins by traveling 15 km along the left bank of theLacar lake, reaching to Chapelco complex where we can see the Lanín volcano.

We will be able to get impressive views of the valley and Lake Lacar from the Pil Pil viewpoint, where we can stop for a moment to take photos and admire the scenery.

During winter, we can rent the teams to enjoy the snow as ski or snowboard, or opt for a snowshoeing. During the return we will pass through lands of the Curruhuinca Mapuche community, and we will visit the small settlement called White Bridge.

Finally, to keep the best memory of San Martín de los Andes we will visit the famous Mirador Arrayán circuit, where we can see the entire city next to Lake Lacar, and in the background beautifying the panorama will be the CAndes Mountains.
