Tour Description
We start this adventure by picking you up from the central hotels in San Martín de los Andes to begin the excursion.
The journey kicks off along the northern shore of Lake Lácar, where you will have the opportunity to capture stunning photos from the panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city.
This route is unique as it winds through the forest in a zigzag pattern, offering several scenic viewpoints with breathtaking views of the mountain range and Lake Lácar.
As you travel through various mountainous landscapes, such as Cerro Colorado, you will spot one of the most remarkable rock formations in the area, known as Piedra Trompul.
After a few kilometers, you will cross the Hua Hum River via a wooden bridge and take a walk to the Chachín Waterfall, one of the most significant falls in Lanín National Park, surrounded by the lush Valdivian jungle and featuring a drop of about 30 meters.
At the end of the excursion, you will retrace the route, making stops at the Hua Hum River beaches and the Yuco Peninsula, located in the heart of Lanín National Park. Here, you can relax, take in the beauty of nature, and admire the impressive landscapes and vegetation, including ferns, quivers, nalcas, and ancient trees.
