Road Of The Seven Lakes To Villa La Angostura

In the morning, we will begin our journey along the spectacular Route of the 7 Lakes through the Patagonian Andean forest.

Globally recognized for its extraordinary natural beauty, the Route of the 7 Lakes links the Machonico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, and Lacar lakes on a scenic four-hour tour (including stops). Throughout the drive, we will pause at various viewpoints to enjoy the breathtaking panoramas and unique vistas each lake offers.

Our final destination will be Villa La Angostura. Located in the northwest region of Lake Nahuel Huapi, this charming town boasts some of Argentina’s most stunning mountain scenery. Nestled within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, it is surrounded by pristine lakes and set amidst the principal protected areas of Patagonia.

The forests here—interlaced with rivers, waterfalls, and majestic mountains—transform with the seasons, continuously revealing new shades and natural beauty.

During our visit, we will explore the lake’s port, Quintupuray, Messidor, the town center, and its beautiful surroundings. You will have free time to wander and discover the city at your own pace before we return to San Martín de los Andes in the afternoon.
