Tour Description
We will depart in the morning from our selected hotels via Route 40 heading towards Junin de los Andes. Here, we will explore the artisan workshops and Mapuche shops, and also visit a remarkable Araucanian style church.
The tour continues towards Huechulafquen Lake as we travel along the banks of the Chimehuin River. From this point, you will enjoy an impressive view of the Lanin volcano.
At midday, we will stop at a Mapuche community restaurant where you may choose to have lunch. (Lunch is not included).
The journey continues along the shores of Huechulafquen and Paimún lakes, reaching incredible viewpoints overlooking the mountain range, offering a breathtaking view of the Lanín volcano and its glaciers.
After taking in this stunning landscape, we will return to San Martin de Los Andes at approximately 18:30 hs.
