I discovered one of the most authentic mountain biking experiences in San Martín de los Andes , riding through forest trails, natural paths and areas belonging to the Curruhuinca Mapuche Community until reaching the beautiful spot known as La Islita .

This excursion perfectly combines adventure, nature and local culture , traversing some of the most stunning landscapes in the Lanín National Park area.

Throughout the route you will pedal along trails surrounded by native trees, mountains and natural viewpoints, enjoying an activity ideal for both families and experienced cyclists.

Thanks to the variety of routes and technical levels, this outing can be adapted to different types of travelers, allowing you to enjoy a safe, fun and unforgettable experience in the heart of Patagonia.

The outing lasts approximately 3 hours and can be done in the morning or afternoon.

The route can begin from the town center of San Martín de los Andes , quickly entering natural trails surrounded by forests and mountains.

During the experience we will travel along paths belonging to the Curruhuinca Mapuche Community , getting to know some of its settlements and discovering natural corners of enormous beauty at the foot of Cerro Bandurrias .

The different types of trails allow the experience to be tailored to the group`s level, offering alternatives for both beginners and experienced bikers.
