Ride Ride Through The Mapuche Community
With our experienced guide and reliable horse, you’ll reach destinations that are simply inaccessible by any other method. Typically, most roads or trails are designed for commercial or transport purposes, not for accessing areas of exceptional scenic beauty. As a result, many breathtaking natural wonders remain hidden and unexplored, along with sites of significant cultural, geological, or historical importance.
Traveling on horseback gives us the unique opportunity to discover these remote locations, often situated far from urban centers and, in some cases, rarely visited by anyone before.
Tour Description
The service begins either at your accommodation in downtown San Martín de los Andes or at a prearranged meeting point.
At the starting base, a guide from the Mapuche community will provide an introductory talk about the journey, explaining how to handle the horse and use the essential gear to ensure a safe excursion. Once everyone is ready and properly equipped, the adventure sets off.
This horseback riding experience lasts approximately two hours. During the tour, we will explore the Mapuche Vera Community, discovering its unique forests, mountains, and streams. This breathtaking landscape can only be accessed on horseback, as vehicles are not permitted in this area.
After two hours, we return to the starting point, where restrooms are available and you will have time to relax or enjoy a snack (food not included).
