After completing pre-check-in at Lago Grey Hotel, we will take a walk of around 40 minutes to reach the boarding area. Once on board, you’ll be amazed by the numerous floating icebergs and their fascinating shapes—perfect for sightseeing and photography.
The journey continues with a 45-minute sail towards the glacier, which is split by a central island. If weather conditions allow, we will disembark for a closer view before returning to the catamaran. Our adventure concludes as we return to the original embarkation point after an incredible 3-hour excursion.

Tour Description
Your unforgettable journey starts with check-in at the Lago Grey Hotel lobby, one hour before departure. Please note that schedules and departure frequencies may vary according to the season.
Once check-in is complete, we will begin a scenic 40-minute walk—approximately 3 km—along Grey Beach from the hotel to the Grey III Catamaran, where our remarkable tour truly begins. From the Grey sector of Torres del Paine National Park, we set off toward the edge of the Southern Ice Field, the home of the magnificent Grey Glacier.
We will explore the glacier aboard the Grey vessel. This impressive glacier features a towering ice wall of about 40 meters high, displaying incredible blue hues that offer a breathtaking natural spectacle. Along the way, you’ll witness numerous floating icebergs in various shapes—perfect for sightseeing and photography.
After about 45 minutes of navigation, we approach the glacier, which is divided by a central island. Weather and wind conditions permitting, we may have the chance to disembark here for a closer view.
This unique perspective allows you to fully appreciate the glacier’s countless crevasses and impressive ice formations. Occasionally, large ice falls may temporarily block the passage of the Grey III, but this creates an exciting opportunity to continue the adventure by Zodiac—another thrilling way to experience this natural wonder.
The full journey to the Grey Glacier, navigating the pristine waters of Grey Lake, lasts approximately three hours and includes a complimentary appetizer for each guest (choose from pisco sour, soft drink, or juice).
