This unforgettable ice trekking experience lasts approximately 5 hours. We will equip you with a backpack, harness, and crampons before setting off by boat toward the island located in the heart of the glacier. Upon arrival, we will embark on a hike of about 40 minutes to 1 hour to reach the glacier access point. This segment features an uphill trail over rocky terrain, classified as moderate in difficulty.
Sunglasses and gloves are a must, as well as waterproof outerwear, sturdy high-top boots, and trekking pants. We also recommend dressing in layers to adapt to possible weather changes.
