This navigation of the Mayo Spirit Trek invites you to discover one of the most stunning areas within Los Glaciares National Park: the Seno Mayo of Lake Argentino.
During this excursion, we will cruise along the Canal de los Témpanos, enjoy scenic walks through the Andean Patagonian Forest, admire hanging glaciers, and experience the must-see Perito Moreno Glacier from both its walkways and by boat.

Tour Description
Your journey starts with an early morning pick-up from your hotel. Upon arrival at the Port of Punta Bandera, we will board the Cruz del Sur boat to set sail along the Canal de los Témpanos on Lake Argentino.
Throughout the excursion, there will be three landings, but the tour also includes several stops at remarkable locations where the guide will share insightful information and allow time for photos. The first stop, without disembarking, is in front of Punta Bandera, a historic site where Francisco Pascasio Moreno held the christening of Lake Argentino.
Our first landing takes place in Bahía Toro. Accompanied by your guide, you will explore the Patagonian Andean forest, reaching a beautiful waterfall. From the lake shore, enjoy breathtaking views of the hanging glaciers on Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro. After the walk, return to the boat for a short 15-minute cruise to the next destination.
At Cerro Negro, the second landing, we enter the Patagonian Andean forest once more, guided along a river path to the base of Cerro Negro. Here, you will be captivated by the impressive Black Glacier, a hanging glacier that feeds several spectacular waterfalls. Take in the scenery before heading back to the boat.
The navigation continues through the Canal de los Témpanos from Seno Mayo on Lake Argentino. As we reach the end of the channel, the north face of the Perito Moreno glacier comes into view. We will disembark at Puerto Perito Moreno and walk towards the viewing walkways directly facing the glacier. Enjoy free time to admire the glacier from various observation points. After the visit, return to Puerto Perito Moreno and board the boat for the journey back to Port of Punta Bandera.
At the time specified by your guide, we will regroup at Puerto Perito Moreno, re-board the boat, and return to our initial departure point, the Punta Bandera Port.
