Tour Description
The tour begins with the pick-up of guests from their hotel in El Calafate. If you are not staying at an authorized hotel (such as Airbnb or a private residence), the meeting point will be at the ACA Parking Lot or at the roundabout near the Secretary of Tourism.
We depart the city in a 4x4 vehicle, heading south through the Calafate stream valley. After a 15 km ascent, we will arrive at the Estancia 25 de Mayo Section, where your MTB bikes will be ready and waiting.
Following a technical briefing from our expert guide, we will begin the Safari Bike adventure: a 16 km bike ride through the Nature Reserve. This two-hour excursion offers the chance to observe a rich variety of native wildlife including guanacos, foxes, choiques, condors, and eagles.
As we pass through the Guanacos valley and its scenic viewpoints on the Verlika and Baguales hills, we will reach a chenque (an ancient Tehuelche burial site), where we can pause to rest and take in the breathtaking Patagonian landscape.
We will return to the ranch to enjoy lunch before concluding the experience with the transfer back to the guests’ hotels.
