Tour Description
Our tour begins at 08:30 am with pick-up from centrally located hotels in El Calafate. After boarding the vehicle, we will travel to Estancia Alice, situated 23 kilometers from downtown, which serves as the starting point for our adventure. It is important to mention that this excursion is tailored to the group’s abilities and needs, ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone.
Throughout the journey, we will traverse the southern slopes of Cerro Frías. Upon reaching its scenic viewpoints, you will have the chance to admire several natural highlights including the Centinela Valley, Torres del Paine, Lake Argentino, and the Brazo Rico branch of the lake.
As we move along the route, we will encounter native flora characteristic of the Patagonian Steppe, which is interspersed with native lenga forests hosting a diverse variety of local plants. Additionally, it is possible to spot local wildlife such as guanacos, foxes, condors, and hares. This excursion is enhanced by the breathtaking scenery and the rich presence of animals.
After completing the 2-hour trek, we will head back to the ranch to enjoy its amenities. Here, you will have time to have your lunch box or a snack, depending on your selected option.
