Dolphins And Dinosaurs

We begin our adventure early in the morning, collecting guests from their centrally located hotels in comfortable vehicles.

Our first destination is Rawson Port, where we board a boat to observe the Patagonian Dolphin, also called the Pío Dolphin or Tonina. This delightful and rare dolphin is an endemic species, with males measuring less than 1.45 meters and females reaching up to 1.52 meters. With some luck, we will witness their acrobatics and see them in their natural environment. These dolphins are extremely active, often swimming swiftly at the surface, leaping, and riding the waves. This experience is truly unique, as it is the only place on the planet where these dolphins can be encountered.

Our journey continues to the city of Trelew, where we visit the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum. Established in 1990, this museum is the most significant of its kind in South America, renowned for its remarkable collection of rare species. It features nearly 40,000 fossils, including both replicas and original specimens of dinosaurs such as the Patagotitan mayorum, recognized as the world's largest dinosaur. Here, visitors can view impressive dinosaur fossils and other prehistoric creatures, while discovering the fascinating geological history of the region.

In the afternoon, we return to the central hotels, carrying with us unforgettable memories from this extraordinary tour that blends nature, history, and culture.
