Visit And Wine Tasting At Las Bardas Ranch

In the late morning, we will collect you from your centrally located accommodation in Puerto Madryn and set off toward the picturesque town of Trelew, where Estancia Las Bardas awaits our arrival. This vineyard celebrated its first harvest in 2022 and is renowned for its artisanal Pinot Noir and Syrah wines, as well as its thriving olive groves.

We will stroll through the olive groves, where you will learn about the Estancia's production of olives and olive oil. The tour will detail the complete process from planting and harvesting to the creation of the final products, including milling, pressing, preservation, and labeling.

Following our exploration of the olive groves, we will visit the winery. Experienced winemakers will introduce us to the various stages of wine production, from grape harvesting to the bottling process. We will observe the growth and maturation of the grapes, learn about the fermentation process, and become familiar with the tools and methods used in each stage. You will also see the barrels used for aging and hear about the most popular wines produced here.

After immersing ourselves in the world of wine and olive oil production, we will have the chance to taste the wines crafted at the vineyard. There is truly no better way to cap off the experience than by enjoying the final product.

During the wine tasting, you will enjoy pairings featuring regional products and local specialties chosen to perfectly complement each wine, along with samplings of olive grove products. The sommelier will provide detailed information about the flavor and texture combinations, wine types, and serving temperatures.
