Tour Description
The excursion starts with a transfer from the hotels in Ushuaia, departing at 08:00 hs, for a 30-minute journey to the Valle de Andorra, the starting point of the hike.
The trail is revealed by your guide, who leads the way through a little-known, rarely used path. This trek lasts about 3 hours and heads uphill through the forest, crossing fallen trees and other natural obstacles that make the walk both enjoyable and challenging. Upon reaching the tree line, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking, unobstructed panoramic views. From this vantage point, you will enjoy a sweeping outlook from 850 meters above Ushuaia.
This trekking experience is ideal for those who appreciate heights and wish to take in the most stunning scenery. After ascending more than 650 meters, reaching approximately 700 meters above sea level, we arrive at the summit of this hill, where a spectacular view awaits.
Around midday, we’ll reach the summit, offering a 360º panorama including the Olivia and Cinco Hermanos mountains, the Carbajal and Andorra valleys, the Beagle Channel, the Murray Pass, the Navarino and Hoste islands, and the most impressive view of Ushuaia. Immersed in this stunning landscape, we’ll take an hour to enjoy lunch. Then, at approximately 13:30 PM, we’ll begin our descent.
At around 3:00 pm, we will return to the hotels in Ushuaia.
