Emerald Lagoon With Lunch In Mountain Dome

At 9:00 am, passengers will be picked up to start the adventure. By 10:00 am, we gather at the trailhead, prepared to journey through the native forest on our way to Laguna Esmeralda.

Our route follows National Route 3, passing iconic landmarks such as Monte Olivia and Monte Cinco Hermanos. By 12:00 pm, we reach the Tierra Mayor valley, where our 5 km hike begins, taking us through stunning mountain scenery shaped by ancient glacier erosion.

Before starting the trek, we will have an introductory talk on the use of crampons (during winter) and trekking poles, ensuring a safe walk through the subantarctic forest—an area once used by loggers and now inhabited by beavers. Around 1:00 pm, we arrive at the lagoon, which may be frozen depending on the season, offering the unique opportunity to walk on the ice for a truly memorable experience.
