Tour Description
We start our adventure by picking up guests from their centrally located hotels or the Ushuaia port.
Our journey begins at the Mirador Las Hayas, a remarkable scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the entire Ushuaia Bay and the majestic Fuegian Andes. As we descend, we head towards Ushuaia Bay, a site known for its serene waters and picturesque surroundings that truly reflect the spirit of the region.
We then make our way to the Barrio La Misión Anglicana, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, renowned for its historical significance and charming architecture. Our route continues to Bahía Encerrada, an urban lagoon that provides a stunning landscape and serves as a habitat for a variety of native bird species.
The tour proceeds along Avenida San Martín, the main commercial street in Ushuaia, where you will find a wide range of shops offering both regional and imported goods. Here, we will have time to stroll and explore the local stores.
Our next stop is the Our Lady of Mercy Church, a historic site that holds significant cultural and spiritual importance for the Ushuaia community.
Afterwards, we visit the Museum of the End of the World, where you can discover the fascinating history of the area, from the indigenous peoples to European explorers.
The tour concludes at the Maritime Museum, situated in the former Ushuaia prison. This museum provides a unique perspective on the city’s maritime and penal past, showcasing exhibits from historic ships to the stories of the inmates who once lived there.
At the end of the excursion, we return to the central hotels or the port.
