Snow Day - Hike + Ski + Sled

The tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Ushuaia, followed by a thirty-minute transfer to Llanos del Castor, a winter resort where you will participate in three outdoor activities, all supervised by professional guides.

The day’s first activity is a snowshoe trek across a frozen peat bog. Throughout the hike, a knowledgeable guide will share insights about the unique landscape and provide information about the beaver, a non-native species in Tierra del Fuego currently being managed for eradication.

The second activity brings excitement as you navigate a thrilling snowmobile circuit through the stunning snow-covered forest. Prior experience is not necessary; expert staff will provide instructions so you can safely operate the snowmobile. Each snowmobile accommodates two people, and midway through the route, drivers will switch so everyone has the opportunity to drive.

Next, you’ll experience a sled adventure, stepping into the world of mushing. You’ll discover the history of this traditional activity and interact with our friendly dogs who accompany you on this unforgettable journey.

There’s no better way to conclude your tour than by relaxing in a cozy restaurant while savoring a full regional lunch paired with local craft beer and other beverage options.

After lunch, you will be comfortably transferred back to your hotel in Ushuaia in the designated vehicle.
