Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our trekking tour to Cerro Cortéz in Ushuaia. The experience begins with a hotel pick-up at 9am, transporting you to the breathtaking trails where our exploration commences at 9:20am.

This excursion is a unique opportunity to experience stunning scenery in just a few hours of hiking. We will begin with a peaceful walk through a tall Lenga forest, immersed in the tranquility and beauty of Patagonian nature. As we progress, the trail becomes more demanding with steep inclines, but your effort will be rewarded—after about an hour, we will reach the edge of the tree line to take in an extraordinary view of Ushuaia Bay.

Over the course of the trek, we will cover 6 kilometers with a positive elevation gain of 550 meters, making this hike a challenging adventure filled with panoramic vistas. By 11:30 am, we will arrive at the summit, where you can admire Cerro Portillo, Monte Olivia, the Beagle Channel, and its islands. In addition, this area is a great spot to observe majestic condors soaring above.

Celebramos mi cumpleaños con una amiga haciendo trekking al Cerro Cortéz y todo salió perfecto. After a work trip, I booked this trek as a birthday treat, and it turned out to be the best value of my time in Ushuaia. The trail through lenga forest was manageable but pleasantly challenging, with muddy sections and a short rocky climb near the top. From Cortez Hill, the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia, and the snow-dusted Martial range opened up beautifully. Our guide even pointed out fresh fox tracks. A small birthday snack and hot tea felt genuinely thoughtful. For the price, the scenery, guidance, and relaxed pace were outstanding. I’d gladly do it again.

Depois de um ano puxado de trabalho, esse trekking foi perfeito para a nossa lua de mel. Caminhamos pelo bosque de lengas, subimos até mirantes do Monte Cortez e paramos para um lanche com vista para Ushuaia e o Canal Beagle. Mit meiner Teenager-Tochter habe ich an unserem Ushuaia-Wochenende den Cortez Hill erkundet – ein richtig abwechslungsreicher Tag! Vom pünktlichen Abholen um 8:10 Uhr über die Wanderung bis zum Aussichtspunkt, die 4x4-Fahrt, das Picknick und mehrere Fotostopps war alles bestens abgestimmt. Unser Guide hatte sogar warme Schokolade dabei, als der Wind oben auffrischte. Wir fühlten uns jederzeit gut betreut und genossen die Landschaft entspannt.

Pendant notre lune de miel, cette randonnée sur la colline de Cortez nous a offert des vues magnifiques sur Ushuaia, le canal Beagle et les montagnes enneigées. Le sentier traverse une forêt paisible, parfait pour l’anniversaire de mon épouse. À la réservation, Camille a répondu le soir même et adapté l’horaire pour notre déjeuner.
