Tour Description
Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our trekking tour to Cerro Cortéz in Ushuaia. The experience begins with a hotel pick-up at 9am, transporting you to the breathtaking trails where our exploration commences at 9:20am.
This excursion is a unique opportunity to experience stunning scenery in just a few hours of hiking. We will begin with a peaceful walk through a tall Lenga forest, immersed in the tranquility and beauty of Patagonian nature. As we progress, the trail becomes more demanding with steep inclines, but your effort will be rewarded—after about an hour, we will reach the edge of the tree line to take in an extraordinary view of Ushuaia Bay.
Over the course of the trek, we will cover 6 kilometers with a positive elevation gain of 550 meters, making this hike a challenging adventure filled with panoramic vistas. By 11:30 am, we will arrive at the summit, where you can admire Cerro Portillo, Monte Olivia, the Beagle Channel, and its islands. In addition, this area is a great spot to observe majestic condors soaring above.
At the top, we will enjoy a rewarding meal surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Afterwards, we will begin our descent, which is much more relaxed and enjoyable.
The tour concludes at 1:45pm, when we start our return journey to the hotels, leaving you with lasting memories of the unique Patagonian wilderness.
