With our trekking to Laguna Esmeralda and visit the Beavers, we are going to travel 9 kilometers, where everyone will be surprised by the wonderful color of the lagoon, with the habits and customs of these curious animals, the beavers

Tour Description

The departure of the tour begins at approximately 8:30 AM from your hotel in the center of the city of Ushuaia. From there we will travel to the Tierra Mayor valley where we will start our trekking to the Esmeralda Lagoon.  

We will go on a guided walk through the Fuegian forests, lakes, rivers and the mountain landscape of the Andes Mountains, until we reach the Laguna Esmeralda , of glacial origin. It owes its name to the color of the sediments that emerge from the Ojo de Albino Glacier. There we can rest and appreciate the majestic landscape where we can take pictures. 

We will also get to know the beaver dams, it is a dam system that the beavers have built over the stream and that is why it bears its name. 

After a walk of approximately 3 hours, we arrived at a refuge in the forest, where We will enjoy a delicious box luch detailed in see menu.

Around approximately 3:00 PM we will be arriving at our accommodation in the city center.
