If you are looking to experience the true spirit of winter in Tierra del Fuego, this full-day tour offers the ideal blend of natural landscapes, local culture, and regional cuisine.
Throughout the journey, you will travel through the stunning mountain valleys that surround Ushuaia, stopping at some of the province’s most iconic locations.
Our first stop is the Carbajal Valley Viewpoint, a breathtaking vantage point that offers panoramic views of the vast glacial valley sculpted by the Olivia River. It’s a perfect place to take photos and appreciate the grandeur of the Andes Mountains.
Next, we’ll head to Siberianos de Fuego, a famous sled dog kennel. Here, you’ll discover the history behind this traditional winter activity. You’ll also have the chance to explore the facilities and relax in their café with a complimentary coffee, a wonderful way to warm up while learning about Tierra del Fuego’s unique culture.

The adventure continues at Haruwen, a site dedicated to conserving the history, culture, and traditions of Tierra del Fuego’s indigenous peoples. This stop offers deeper insight into the region’s distinctive natural and cultural legacy.
Afterwards, we’ll arrive at the spectacular Garibaldi Pass, one of the most famous viewpoints along National Route No. 3. From here, you can take in a remarkable panoramic view of Escondido and Fagnano Lakes, framed by mountains and southern forests.
To round out the day, you may choose to enjoy an optional lunch at a welcoming winter lodge, where the highlight is the traditional Fuegian lamb on a spit, a signature dish of Patagonian cuisine.
