Yachting On The Beagle Channel

After gathering at the Ushuaia Tourist Pier, we will board a comfortable yacht reserved exclusively for our group. Our navigation begins along the Beagle Channel, heading to our first destination, Alice Island, where we will witness a thriving colony of South American sea lions. Next, we continue our journey to Bird Island, home to vibrant colonies of royal and imperial cormorants. Here, you can observe their nests and, from spring to autumn, see the chicks. The impressive diversity and abundance of wildlife will undoubtedly amaze you.

We continue eastward toward another small island, where, depending on the season, you may spot two-haired sea lions. Our route takes us close to the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, a true landmark of Ushuaia built in 1919. From this point, we will also see the island inhabited by rock cormorants.

On the return journey, we will disembark at Bridges Island for a walk along an interpretive trail highlighting the local flora and fauna. Here, we will also delve into the fascinating history of the Yámana indigenous people. The island is renowned for preserving the region's largest Yámana anthropogenic shell middens.

As the largest island in the area, Bridges Island offers us the opportunity to reach its highest panoramic viewpoint, where we can admire breathtaking vistas of the majestic Beagle Channel, the distant City of Ushuaia, and the stunning Andes Mountains.

We will then sail back to the pier, concluding our unforgettable excursion.

Throughout the tour, you will enjoy coffee with liqueur, a selection of fine teas, rich hot chocolate with sweet cookies, and of course, the traditional Argentine mate.
